Main Responsibilities

  • As the new holder of this position, you will be responsible for managing social workers and Social Care Advisors, ensuring performance management, regulatory compliance, and service delivery.
  • You will prioritise and allocate work to appropriate staff based on the complexity and urgency of service requests, utilising resources effectively.
  • Your role involves ensuring effective budget management and deployment of resources within agreed policy objectives and service priorities.
  • Responsible for reviewing and evaluating Support Planning in accordance with practice guidelines, making adjustments as necessary.
  • You will promote the professional development and wellbeing of individual team members through regular supervision, identify training opportunities, and assist qualified professionals to maintain their professional registration.
