Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Development Scientist to join our technical team in Greater Manchester. As a key member of our manufacturing support team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our processes to improve product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
* Conducting evaluations on incoming raw materials
* Optimizing current processes to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality
* Collaborating with production teams to achieve desired yields
* Running manufacturing trials, analyzing results, and reporting on statistical analysis
* Troubleshooting issues arising from manufacturing and production
* Evaluating process performance and advising on corrective actions

Requirements
* Degree-level education in a scientific discipline (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering desirable)
* Proven experience in manufacturing process support or process optimization
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Strong planning and organizational skills
* Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously

What We Offer
* Competitive salary range: £35,000-£45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, and performance-related bonus
* Flexible working hours with 5 hours per week Monday to Friday (8:30am-4:30pm)
