Upstream Process Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Upstream Process Scientist to join Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd, a leading Pharmaceutical company in Berkshire.

This is an initial 12 month contract, with likely extension and the possibility of permanent employment after this period.

  • Support team compliance with all quality management systems by reviewing, writing, and updating internal procedures and documents (e.g., Lab procedures, SOPs, templates).
Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Providing scientific support to the development of upstream processes, including process optimization and troubleshooting.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of upstream processes into manufacturing operations.
  3. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant Master's degree with 1-2 years industry experience, or a PhD.
  • Proven industry experience in upstream processing, process development/manufacturing/analytical sciences.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
