Job Summary

Maserati of San Diego is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Academic English to lead the English department and drive academic excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality teaching and learning strategies, ensuring the delivery of an engaging and challenging curriculum, and leading a team of dedicated teachers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Lead the English department to achieve academic excellence and drive school-wide improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
  • Manage and develop a team of teachers to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will hold a relevant undergraduate degree, possess QTS or equivalent, and have a minimum of one year's teaching experience. They will also have a proven track record of raising achievement, excellent ICT skills, and experience of innovative curriculum development.
