Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of our care home buildings, grounds, and equipment. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment that promotes the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the care home building, grounds, and equipment
- Undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, gardening, and grounds maintenance
- Liaise with external contractors to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Support the General Manager with annual budget planning and financial management
About You
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager who possesses hands-on experience of property maintenance, at least one trade skill, and the ability to lead a team. A full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are essential requirements. You should also be reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
