Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Gousto. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance and repair of our warehouse and storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering team on shift, with management responsibilities including talent management, training, timesheet management, development plans, and performance reviews.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and input from direct reports.
  • Use the Engineering activity planning system within CMMS to manage all planned maintenance activities and overall CMMS for stock control, maximizing system availability.
  • Complete audits and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Nurture internal stakeholder relationships and work day-to-day with operational teams.
  • Use RCA methodology to remove repeatable faults and share best practices across the network.
  • Manage contractor control on site using PtW and LOTO processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure correct specifications and procure components.
  • Mentor and develop our Engineering Support Operatives.

Requirements

  • Apprenticeship-trained and electrically qualified (Multi-skilled preferable) or qualified to a minimum of City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Hazard and Risk Assessment qualification, isolation, and check for dead, IOSH desirable, understanding of dynamic risk assessment.
  • PUWER, LOLER, IOSH, and manual handling trained.
