About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Rates Administrator to join our team at Workman LLP. As a Business Rates Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily processing of our clients' business rates invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment.

You will work closely with our Accounts Payable teams and Property Management teams to provide exceptional service to our clients. Your strong communication skills and ability to build professional relationships will be essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent numeracy skills, good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and a proactive approach to work. A G.C.S.E. in Maths and English is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process business rates invoices for our clients
  • Manage central email inboxes and update control spreadsheets
  • Load invoices to clients' approval systems and reconcile payment reports
  • Liaise with asset managers and resolve council and client queries
  • Perform banking duties, including BACS/CHAPS and transfers
