Senior Business Rates Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Rates Surveyor to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on business rates to our clients, helping them to minimize their rates liabilities and maximize their savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on business rates to clients, including rating valuation appeals, rates reliefs, and rates management
  • Represent clients in the best manner by achieving rates savings through the Check, Challenge, Appeal process and pursuing other opportunities for savings
  • Develop and manage relationships with key clients, proactively developing new relationships to increase revenue streams
  • Support graduates and develop a team
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and case law

Requirements:

  • Clear expertise within business rates surveying
  • MRICS status
  • Ability to manage significant case loads
  • Ability to manage and nurture a team
  • Ideal candidate will have a consulting background and ability to generate business alongside developing existing relationships
