About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-profile temporary exhibitions at the British Museum.

You will be working closely with colleagues across the Museum, as well as designers, contractors, and external partners, to play a key role in the successful management of exhibitions and public-facing projects.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the delivery of all aspects of exhibitions, from brief to closure and evaluation, including budgeting and risk management.

  • Develop delivery teams for individual projects and ensure stakeholder input.
  • Ensure project completion on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Develop clear project objectives and schedules.
  • Plan financial estimates and resources required from internal and external staff.
  • Identify and manage risks.
About You

We are seeking an experienced project manager who has a proven track record of delivering public-facing projects involving multi-disciplined teams.

Candidates should have experience in project processes, such as risk management, issue resolution, and budget management.

A persuasive ability to influence stakeholders and achieve 'buy-in' to a project is essential.
