We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our special care unit at HMP Stafford, a category C men's prison in Staffordshire. The 8-bed specialist care unit provides reablement and palliative care to patients. As a Physiotherapist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including supervising a Physiotherapist Assistant. You will support patients within the unit, as well as conduct outreach assessments and develop follow-up plans for patients across the West Midlands region. This role offers a diverse workload, supporting patients with neurological, chronic, and short-term illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in the special care unit
  • Supervise a Physiotherapist Assistant to ensure effective support to patients
  • Conduct outreach assessments and develop follow-up plans for patients across the West Midlands region
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
