Electronics Systems Developer

At LINKS RECRUITMENT GROUP, we're seeking a highly skilled Electronics Systems Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in assembling, testing, and repairing electronic prototypes to component level. This will include interpreting complex electronic schematics, soldering down to component level, and crimping of harness assemblies.
Main Responsibilities:- Liaise with senior technical staff to realise new product concepts.
- Design, manufacture, and test working prototypes of electronic components and systems.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies relevant to our product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise 'Design for Manufacture' processes.
- Identify key technology gaps and evaluate potential solutions to address them.
- Support the external testing and validation of new products through partnerships with specialist test houses.
- Develop and implement fault investigation protocols and reliability testing solutions to enhance production efficiency.
- Assemble and test current production products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Provide support for fielded equipment upgrades and repairs, which may involve travel to customer sites.
- Work independently on projects with minimal supervision, exercising self-motivation and initiative.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues.
- Cope with fluctuating demands and priorities, maintaining a flexible approach to workload management.
- Apply logical and objective thinking to problem-solving, verifying assumptions through fact-checking.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety throughout all work activities.
- Engage positively with the wider team, contributing to business performance and results.
- Speak up when uncomfortable with direction or processes, promoting open communication and constructive challenge.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity and honesty in all aspects of work, including voicing concerns when necessary.

The estimated salary for this position is £34,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where you can grow your skills and expertise.
