Job Description:

We are seeking an Electronics Hardware Design Specialist to join our team at Airbus Defence & Space Newport in South Wales. As an essential member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced electronics hardware systems.

The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in electronic design and development, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as part of a team. You will receive on-the-job training and a formal degree qualification while being paid and accruing no course fees.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop electronics hardware systems for complex applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics hardware with software systems
  • Analyze and troubleshoot electronics hardware issues to ensure system reliability

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs at 4/C or above, including English Language/Welsh First Language and Mathematics/Mathematics – Numeracy
  • Genuine interest in electronic design and development
  • Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance
