Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our primary SEND school in Clapham.

The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and be committed to helping them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support students with SEN, providing one-to-one and small-group guidance to help them reach their goals.

  3. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting a sense of safety, support, and encouragement among students.
  4. Contribute to classroom activities, ensuring all students are engaged and able to participate fully.
  5. Communicate effectively with families and carers, keeping them updated on progress and sharing achievements.
Requirements:
  • Advantageous to have prior experience working with SEN, but a positive attitude, patience, and commitment to helping children succeed are essential.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in adapting learning approaches for different abilities.
  • Show strong communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff and families.
