Primary School Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Academics Ltd is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Iffley. This is a full-time, one-year contract that offers a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting.

As a graduate with a strong education background, you will be responsible for supporting a Year 2 class with their daily activities, including lessons, breaks, and extracurricular activities.

The ideal candidate will have a degree graded 2:1 or above and some previous experience working with children. A degree in a Maths or Number-related subject is highly desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery
  • Providing support to students during lessons and activities
  • Helping with SATS preparation and assessments
