Healthcare Support Specialist

The Transformation Unit is looking for a highly organized Healthcare Support Specialist to assist in the day-to-day operations of our Radiology Department. This role involves liaising with various departments to ensure patients arrive on time and are correctly prepared for imaging. As a key member of our team, you will provide excellent customer service, handle non-clinical tasks, and support the Radiographer team leader and Radiology registrars.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring patient flow, identifying issues, and taking proactive steps to prevent delays. You will also answer hospital calls regarding in-patients, communicate rejections of radiology requests, and gather additional information required by the Radiology Team. With your strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities, you will make a valuable contribution to our team.
