Job Title: Resource Management Director

Company Overview:

Dentsu, a leading media and digital marketing agency, seeks an experienced Resource Management Director to lead our Media UK function. In this pivotal role, you will manage the supply and demand across the Media UK service line, ensuring timely staffing of teams and excellence in client delivery.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for updating schedules to reflect workload demands, fostering relationships with key stakeholders to assess skills and availability, and identifying opportunities for internal talent development. Your strategic vision and operational excellence will drive change and evolution within our Media UK function.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic review of capacity across capability areas, actively realigning professionals to meet utilization targets and optimize bench resources.
  • Take ownership of and streamline resource requests, ensuring validation of requirements, affordability, and presenting top-tier candidates for consideration.
  • Drive planning for assignments and extensions based on capacity and demand needs, engaging with resources to align opportunities with their skills and aspirations.
  • Champion the proposal of resources with current or near-term availability, aligning with project requirements and professional goals.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a Resource Management leadership role, demonstrating strategic vision and operational excellence.
  • Proven proficiency in creating and analysing MI across people, client, and financial datasets, driving informed decision-making.
  • Strong track record of utilizing resourcing management tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Exceptional ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and competing demands with ease.
