Role Overview

We are seeking an Active Outdoors Development Co-ordinator to join our team at Dunstable Downs. This role is focused on connecting with people, inspiring them, and making our sites accessible and welcoming to new groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event licensing and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop new relationships and opportunities within the local community to host events at Dunstable Downs.
  • Work closely with the Volunteering and Community manager to ensure a varied and ambitious calendar of events.
  • Act as a Duty Manager to ensure our visitors operations remain compliant, well-presented, and well-staffed each day.

Requirements

  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Experience of working with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of active outdoor sporting events and health and safety compliance requirements.
