At Osborne Appointments, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Transport Planning for Heavy Goods, with a strong understanding of WTD, Road Transport regulations, and FORS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement optimized routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Manage and coordinate the movement of goods within our fleet, working closely with subcontractors to meet customer requirements
  • Monitor vehicle performance and maintain a strong focus on Health and Safety compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication at all levels

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Transport Planner for Heavy Goods
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and cloud-based documents
  • Working knowledge of WTD, Road Transport regulations, and FORS
  • Geographical knowledge of the UK road network
  • CPC qualification desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply Company Values and Policies
  • Full UK driving Licence
