About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Utilita Energy. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications using React and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality, structured, and reusable code for our bespoke applications, mobile apps, websites, APIs, and databases.
  • Work in Agile product teams to develop new software, features, changes, and fixes, ready for deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Mentor and support junior software engineers and associate software engineers.
Requirements
  • Strong passion for programming and in-depth skills in React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with back-end technologies using APIs, REST, JSON, and HTTP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a logical manner.
  • Interest in supporting and developing others as a mentor.
  • Prior knowledge of the Energy industry, its data flows, and communications is a plus.
