Turning Point UK is looking for a Prescribing Lead to join our team at the Wakefield Inspiring Recovery Network. As a clinical specialist in addiction medicine, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to prescribing medications. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that individuals receive the best possible care.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to prescribing medications
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of addiction medicine and be able to communicate complex ideas clearly. You will need to be a Registered Pharmacist or Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council and already a qualified independent prescriber.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience, plus 25 days' paid holiday a year + Bank Holidays, increasing with each year of service up to 27 days + Bank Holidays. Plus the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.
