Clinical Lead Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse or Pharmacist to join our team at Turning Point UK. In this role, you will have the chance to develop your skills in nursing and make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing difficulties related to drug and alcohol usage.
As part of our Wakefield Inspiring Recovery Network, you will work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services to create a collaborative approach. Your key responsibilities will include providing opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications.
To be successful in this role, you must be a registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Pharmacist with independent prescriber status. You should be confident in managing prescribing for opiates and alcohol detoxifications.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who can develop creative and flexible support packages tailored to individual needs. A deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience is essential for this role.
About Our BenefitsTurning Point UK offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience. Our benefits package includes 25 days' paid holiday per year + Bank Holidays, increasing with each year of service up to 27 days + Bank Holidays. We also offer the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.
