**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide support to the Mayor in fulfilling their civic role.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a Local Authority and contribute to the delivery of various civic and charity events.

As a Mayoralty Officer, you will be responsible for managing the Mayor's office, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely responses to correspondence and invitations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Mayor's first point of contact and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Manage the Mayor's diary, scheduling appointments and engagements, and coordinating logistics with the Chauffeur.
  • Prepare and circulate the Mayor's weekly schedule of events and engagements.
  • Assist in planning and delivering civic and charity events, including formal parades, services, dinners, and fundraising activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven commitment to high levels of customer service.
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

You should be available to start immediately and have the right to work in the UK.

The salary for this position is £15.25-£19.47 per hour.
