Southport, Sefton, United Kingdom NHS Full time

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at the Sefton Homeless Psychology Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical psychology services to individuals experiencing homelessness in Sefton.

The service offers appointments to people living in Sefton who are experiencing homelessness, allowing for a consideration of how any mental health issues may be impacting on their ability to live more independently. Information from these meetings is used to inform and support referrals to local services and also to inform the care and support provided to people who live in supported hostel accommodation.

As an Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,970 to £36,483 per annum pro rata, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including opportunities for professional development and training.
