About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Spiritual Care Professional to join our team at Methodist Homes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our values of respect, nurture, and inspire, and is passionate about delivering exceptional spiritual care to our residents.

As a Spiritual Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing spiritual support and guidance to our residents, staff, and their families.

You will work closely with local faith communities to build strong relationships and ensure that the spiritual needs of all individuals are met.

With your expertise in pastoral care and ability to lead services, you will play a vital role in upholding the spiritual well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual support and guidance to residents, staff, and their families
  • Build strong relationships with local faith communities
  • Lead services and develop worship plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of spiritual aspects of ageing and dementia, as well as experience in providing pastoral care.

You should be able to demonstrate empathy and compassion in your interactions with others, and possess excellent communication skills.

A degree in Theology or a related field would be beneficial, but not essential. What's more important is your passion for delivering high-quality spiritual care and your ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
