About the Role:

Community Lives Consortium is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning or physical disabilities, enabling them to live independently in their own homes within the communities of Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to individuals, promoting their dignity, safety, and independence.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, housekeeping, and personal care.
  • Accompany individuals to social, leisure, and recreational activities, promoting their engagement and participation.
  • Support individuals in developing new skills and friendships, encouraging them to enjoy a full life within the community.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.

Requirements:

  • 18 years old or over.
  • Ability to empathize with individuals and provide genuine care and support.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Full current driving license and Business Class 1 vehicle insurance (if applicable).
