About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Standards Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Education Quality Assurance (EQA) Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all providers of professional education and training for nurses, midwives and nursing associates meet the required standards.

You will be working closely with approved education institutions (AEIs) across the Midlands and East of England, and providing QA support UK wide, as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within quality assurance, either in higher education or a healthcare environment, and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the importance of education quality assurance, and how this promotes public protection and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the safe and effective quality assurance of programmes delivered by AEIs, including approval and monitoring, in line with the NMC's Quality Assurance Framework.
  • To establish and maintain professional relationships with AEIs, and provide QA support as required.
  • To engage with and build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders representing different groups and diverse backgrounds.
  • To advise, influence and support others, maintaining own professional boundaries.
