We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Inverclyde. As a part-time employee with 28 hours per week, you will have the opportunity to support our social care services and make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.

Your primary responsibilities will include supporting service users with their daily needs, assisting with personal care, and preparing meals and snacks as required. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and accompanying service users on outings and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support service users with their daily needs and activities
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare meals and snacks as required
  • Accompany service users on outings and activities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Satisfactory PVG check if working in regulated work (children and/or protected adults)
  • Able to work flexibly with 28 hours per week
