Submarine Systems Specialist

Location: Various UK locations, including Barrow-In-Furness and Portsmouth.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per year. A salary that reflects your experience and expertise.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Submarine Systems Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Integrated Development Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering submarine systems and capability.

You will work closely with other teams to identify and mitigate hazards, develop safety reports, and ensure that the Integrated Development Team operates within the project Safety Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of an Integrated Development Team to develop and deliver submarine systems and capability.
  • Identifying and analyzing hazards, and developing safety reports.
  • Ensuring that the Integrated Development Team operates within the project Safety Management System.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working in a team environment and delivering tasks independently.
  • Practical experience as a Product Safety Engineer in the maritime defence sector is desirable, but not essential.
