Learning Disability Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Learning Disability Specialist to join our team in Cornwall, UK. As a key member of our Intensive Support Team, you will work with adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions to provide comprehensive support and care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and develop positive behavioral plans to prevent hospital admissions and placement breakdowns
- Work collaboratively with individuals, care staff, and families to achieve patient-centered outcomes and improve quality of life
- Provide training and modeling to care providers to enhance their skills and knowledge
This is a part-time, flexible role that involves traveling around the geographic area without relying on public transport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, particularly in learning disabilities and mental health. A current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and relevant specialist clinical skills and experience are essential for this position.
The salary for this role is £37,338 - £44,962 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users.
