Learning Disabilities Specialist Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Learning Disabilities Specialist Nurse. The successful candidate will have current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, relevant specialist clinical skills and experience, and a proven track record of working with people with learning disabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Assessing and developing positive behavioral approaches for individuals at risk of admission to specialist or mental health hospital
- Providing training and modeling to care staff and family members to achieve patient-centered outcomes
- Working collaboratively with Social Care, Specialist Commissioning, and Specialist Care Providers to deliver intervention plans
The ideal candidate will be able to use reflective practice and clinical supervision to provide high-quality assessments and interventions. They will also have experience of working in community settings and be able to travel around the geographic area without relying on public transport.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term part-time position with a duration of 12 weeks. The salary is £37,338 - £44,962 per annum pro rata, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking for a challenging and rewarding role.
