Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Learning Disabilities to join our team. As a key member of our community support team, you will play a vital role in providing assessments and developing positive behavioral approaches for individuals at risk of hospital admission or placement breakdown.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and care providers to achieve patient-centered outcomes and improve quality of life. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Social Care, Specialist Commissioning, and Specialist Care Providers to deliver high-quality care and support.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience working with people with learning disabilities, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. You will be able to use reflective practice and clinical supervision to provide high-quality specialist assessments and interventions.

About the Role

  • Assess and develop positive behavioral approaches for individuals at risk of hospital admission or placement breakdown
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and care providers to achieve patient-centered outcomes
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to HCAs and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit, and evidence-based practice initiatives

Requirements

  • Professional qualification - RNLD
  • Current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Relevant specialist clinical skills and experience
  • Able to use reflective practice and clinical supervision to provide high-quality specialist assessments and interventions

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
