We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Relais & Châteaux at Thornbury Castle. As a key member of our culinary brigade, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Head Chef in creating menus, leading the kitchen in their absence, and training new staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Head Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Head Chef
  • Train and develop new kitchen staff members
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and health and safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a 3 AA Rosette or 1 Michelin star environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor
  • Passion for delivering exceptional food and service
