Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecoms Cable Engineer to join our team at ENWL. As a key member of our Field Services team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining copper and fibre optic networks in line with our delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of copper and fibre optic networks
  • Fibre splicing and testing
  • Copper jointing and terminations
  • Implementation of planned works within agreed timescales
  • Assistance with fault diagnosis and restoration of fibre networks

Requirements:

  • C&G Level 2 qualification in a relevant engineering subject or equivalent
  • Detailed knowledge of fibre optic access methodology and copper access methodology
  • Knowledge of fibre optic testing and commissioning, and copper testing and commissioning
  • Knowledge of Signing Lighting and Guarding NRSWA
  • Knowledge of fibre and copper network maintenance and construction activities
