Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Principal EC&I Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the EC&I engineering discipline on various projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project's single point of authority and accountability for the EC&I engineering discipline.
  • Lead a multi-disciplined engineering team and work closely with clients' responsible engineering teams.
  • Develop key design deliverables such as Block Cable Diagrams, Schematics, Cable Schedules, and General Arrangements.
  • Check and approve cable calculations by hand or in Amtech and lighting calculations in Dialux/Relux.
  • Ensure design deliverables are of high standard and compliant with relevant standards, regulations, and customer-specific standards.
  • Manage resolutions to technical issues and ensure necessary change control is implemented.
  • Present EC&I engineering designs to clients and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • At least 8+ years' experience in industry, with at least 3 years at Senior Engineer level.
  • Ideal 5+ years in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated sector.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Chartered Member of the IET.
  • Detailed knowledge of standards, regulations, codes, and directives.
  • Proven knowledge of EC&I design theories, principles, practices, and techniques.
