About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic charity based in beautiful offices. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function and contributing to the success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions:
    • Process and reconcile financial transactions, including expenses, credit card transactions, and purchase orders.
    • Manage the cash book and ensure accurate and timely postings.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Financial Administration:
    • Manage the purchase ledger and ensure accurate and timely payments.
    • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • General Administration:
    • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
    • Assist in preparing year-end accounts and responding to auditor queries.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • AAT part-qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Experience in a similar role, ideally in accounts.
  • Skills:
    • Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work accurately and methodically with attention to detail.
