Job Description

We are committed to improving the lives of children with Autism, Speech and Language difficulties. This role involves working in partnership with our team to deliver high-quality support to our students.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a small class setting, supporting students with Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a caring and compassionate approach.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering the curriculum
  • Providing behaviour and pastoral support
  • Collaborating with therapists to develop individual plans
  • Building strong relationships with students and their families
  • Meeting the individual needs of students through a tailored approach
  • Working effectively in a team environment
  • Ensuring safeguarding of students, in line with procedures
  • Providing personal care support
  • Participating in staff meetings and CPD activities
