Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Anaesthetics Specialist to join our team at Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our anaesthetic department, you will provide high-quality care to patients and contribute to the development of our services.

About the Role

This is a full-time (10 PA) position, with opportunities for negotiation. You will be based primarily at our Wakefield (Pinderfields) site, although you may also work at Dewsbury and Pontefract Hospitals.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide anaesthetic services for elective and emergency procedures
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree from a recognised institution
  • Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register for Anaesthetics or within 6 months of obtaining CCT (or CESR / equivalent)
  • Evidence of broad training and experience in anaesthetics
