We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Royal Blackburn Hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in planning and delivering high-quality care to patients on Ribble Ward, a male inpatient ward with 14 beds.
The successful candidate will have expertise in General Adult Psychiatry and will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients. You will also participate in the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration is payable.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care. If you are a motivated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients on Ribble Ward, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in the Consultant On Call rota, providing out-of-hours care and support to patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise and support junior staff, including trainees and junior doctors.
- Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
- On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
- Section 12 approved or within 3 months.
- AC status or within 3 months.
