Senior Forensic Psychiatrist

Kemple View, a low secure and rehabilitation service, is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join its team of 4.7 consultants. The ideal candidate will have a CCT in Forensic Psychiatry or Rehabilitation Psychiatry and a strong background in leading multidisciplinary teams.
The Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for taking clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic reviews. They will also contribute to management meetings and clinical governance meetings, and develop a therapeutic milieu.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. They will also be able to maintain CPD and re-validation requirements, as determined by the Royal College of Psychiatrists or other relevant statutory bodies.
