Maintenance Coordinator

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at The Royal Oak.

Your role will be to ensure the inn and its grounds are well-maintained and presented to a high standard.

• You will support the team by maintaining the property's cleanliness and organization, ensuring all areas are presented to a high standard.
• You will be responsible for planning and delivering a program of maintenance and improvements, ensuring the inn remains a welcoming and comfortable space for our guests.
• You may also be involved in minor aspects of plumbing, grounds maintenance, small DIY tasks, decorating, and changing light bulbs as needed.
• You will manage our linen store and stock, ensuring everything is in order and readily available.
• In your less busy times, you may be required to support our housekeeping team in room changeovers and general cleaning.

About you:

As a Maintenance Assistant, you must be highly organized and focused with a keen eye for detail. You'll need to be aware of our busy periods and work around our guests to ensure they have a great experience.

Prior experience is advantageous, but we're eager to hear from people with a genuine desire to work in maintenance and a flair for making our inn look its best.

This is a full-time permanent role, requiring flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including some weekends and bank holidays when necessary. We're happy to discuss your needs and can consider job share or part-time options.
