Job Summary

The Safeguarding Training and Supervision Administrator will provide high-quality administrative support to the Safeguarding Education Specialist and wider safeguarding team to ensure the booking, delivery, coordination, recording, and reporting of Trust safeguarding supervision and training.

Main Duties
  1. Provide administrative support and diary management to the Safeguarding Education Specialist (SES) and safeguarding specialists in relation to safeguarding training and supervision.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for the SES, dealing with non-routine queries, taking highly confidential messages, and demonstrating excellent knowledge of specialist SWAST training and supervision functions.
  3. Maintain training and supervision databases on behalf of the SES and wider team and coordinate recording and collation of relevant data/documentation/correspondence.
  4. Provide administrative support at meetings as requested.
  5. Engage with external stakeholders, remaining professional and courteous at all times.
  6. Assist with CQC compliance, maintaining accurate staff safeguarding training and supervision records, and support the collation and reporting of training and supervision figures.
  7. Provide regular reports on attendance and non-attendance to the SES, who will report to the Head of Safeguarding.
  8. Responsible for supporting the development and review of safeguarding training delivery plans to deliver the training strategy.
  9. Work autonomously and unsupervised, following and implementing relevant policies within own area of responsibility, and provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to these policies as required.
  10. To be able to manage multiple work streams at the same time daily, being flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements.
