About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Solutions Architect to join our team at Tata Technologies. As a key member of our Digital Enterprise Solutions Department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical architecture and solution design for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the global solution design for OneApp, including mobile app back-end, Vehicle connected data platform, API services, content management, CRM, and Push Notification.
  • Ensure customer data group delivers customer profile and consent and preference services on agreed NFR.
  • Lead Identity and Access Management to ensure customer authentication services delivered on agreed NFR.
  • Work with Order Management, API services, and SF Marketing cloud to ensure app push notification services delivered on agreed NFR.
  • Ensure all client standards and governance forums are fully addressed.
  • Support the global product manager in managing the Oneapp mobile channel capability map.
  • Co-Chair the technical design authority for Senior Product Manager.
  • Work with the Product Manager and solution architect to define the Oneapp architecture roadmap.
  • Conduct full technical analysis at project feasibility stage, including systems and technical input required for business cases and associated documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of client Digital roadmaps for Oneapp, reference architectures, patterns, and standards.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for assigned projects and tasks.
  • Represent Oneapp as a technical product level and ensure appropriate company and industry standards are met.
  • Represent and explain the technical requirements and constraints of the programme to Digital and business management.
  • Produce robust fit-for-purpose high-level technical architecture designs within Agile and/or waterfall project/programme environments.
  • Represent the programme designs to the Design Authorities and demonstrate fitness for purpose and compliance to reference architectures, patterns, and standards.
  • Act as the lead technology consultant for Oneapp and drive towards re-use and removal of tech debt.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with subject matter experts to reach consensus on best practice designs and approaches.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors and suppliers to ensure solution compliance to client reference architectures, patterns, and standards and meeting information security policies.
  • Assist in creating solution assessment criteria for product selections.
  • Assist Product Managers and Business Analysts in creating functional and non-functional requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to lead the technical delivery of customer-facing mobile app solutions and platforms.
  • Experience in mobile content API, Microservices, Kafka event streaming, and app push notification.
  • Salesforce experience in order tracking, customer profile, consent management, and marketing cloud.
  • Proven track record in leading Technical Design Authorities to provide assurance that technical decisions are right, fit for purpose, and deliver strategic architecture.
  • Educated degree level or above, preferably in a computing, systems, or science/engineering-related subject.
  • Proven track record of working in a complex and multi-faceted organisation using a wide variety of current and legacy IT technology components.
  • Strong exposure to both waterfall-based and Agile/Scrum-based methodologies.
  • Proven track record as a solution architect delivering appropriate software application designs integrating cross-technology solutions covering a variety of technologies.
  • Relevant and current software development/engineering experience skills covering all aspects, including security and privacy aspects, error handling, monitoring, and logging.
  • High-quality designs encompassing full error handling, monitoring, and logging.
  • Good understanding of best practices for development of security standards-compliant systems.
  • Strong exposure to application performance testing and optimisation.
  • Capable of producing detailed integration designs using industry standards in accordance with established client integration patterns and policies.
  • Ability to demonstrate delivery of pragmatic solutions that balance project/programme constraints against strategic direction and, as required, successfully reach agree compromise with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to identify practical solutions and improvements that benefit the organisation and express complex ideas in clear business language.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, analyse data and information, and develop and deliver appropriate, innovative, and effective solutions.
  • Appreciation of DevOps, integrated development practices, Integrated Test, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience as a practitioner in the role of Solution Architect.
