Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist AI Governance

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Specialist AI Governance to join our team at Jaguar Land Rover. As a key member of our AI Governance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our AI Governance Framework and Policies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, maintain and continuously improve a business-aligned governance framework and policies for AI, ensuring compliance with AI regulations, mainly the EU AI Act.
* Enable a link between the several teams doing AI across JLR and the JLR teams responsible for ethics and privacy.
* Create OKRs and quantifiable KPIs to enable goals and measurement of compliance to AI governance and policies.
* Define the criteria that must be met by AI products to achieve governance compliance goals.
* Advise and support the IDT Data Enablement and Adoption team on awareness, education and training activities related to AI governance.
* Coach and mentor the JLR AI community of practice on AI governance and policies.
* Recommend specific tools to support compliance with the AI governance framework and policies.
* Lead on AI risk management and compliance reviews.
* Present at global conferences on the topics of AI governance.
* Represent JLR in AI governance committees and organisations.

Requirements:

* MSc on Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or on a related field, or previous work experience.
* In-depth knowledge and technical expertise in AI technologies, products, tools and processes.
* Strong understanding of AI governance.
* Ability to effectively explain complex ideas, confidently presenting these to senior stakeholders.
* Strong influencing and communicating skills across all organisation, including senior stakeholders and non-technical people.
* Membership of appropriate AI committees and organisations.
* Deep understanding of the AI regulatory regimes.
* Experience in facilitating workshops and engagement sessions.
