About the Role

We are seeking an experienced System Architect to join our team at Aston Martin Lagonda. As a key member of our systems engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development of our cutting-edge automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Requirements Analysis: Gather and organize stakeholder requirements to derive system requirements.
  • Diagnostics and Testing: Determine diagnostic requirements for systems and ensure compliance with SOTIF (ISO21448) and Cyber Security (UNECE R155) standards.
  • System Architecture Development: Create logical, functional, and system architecture diagrams using MBSE methodology and tools like Polarian, Capella, and IBM Rhapsody.
  • Team Leadership: Direct the workload of the systems engineering team for assigned programmes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Technical Documentation: Author technical documentation in tools like Doors and Polarion.
Requirements
  • Automotive Development Experience: Knowledge of automotive product development (V-Cycle) from concept to launch.
  • Systems Architecture Expertise: Experience with multiple automotive electronic systems and embedded systems.
  • MBSE Methodology: Applying Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop complex systems.
  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Collaborating in cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAN, FlexRay, LIN, Ethernet, and Wifi, as well as understanding of UDS/ODX diagnostics protocols.
About You
  • Effective Communication: Excellent stakeholder management abilities and effective facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills and ability to build positive relationships and understand others' needs.
  • Leadership: Experience in cross-functional leadership and ability to drive solutions and develop mitigation plans as needed.
  • Technical Background: Strong technical engineering background with analytical skills and experience with Polarian, MBSE modelling tools, Vector CAN tools, CAPL scripts, and Microsoft Office.
