Fire and Security Engineer Opportunity

Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 OTE

Location: London

The Electronics Group is seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading technical installation and maintenance, ensuring we deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

To achieve excellence in this role, you will need to:

  • Install, maintain, and commission complex Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
  • Project manage high-quality installations, rollout programs, and/or maintenance programs across multiple systems/sites.
  • Manage relationships with customers, ensuring they are kept fully informed at all stages.
  • Motivate staff, providing encouragement, guidance, advice, and information to improve team effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge in a range of technical situations, making personal judgments to achieve quality, cost, and time objectives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Essential understanding and experience of installing, maintaining, and commissioning complex Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
  • A track record of project managing/delivering high-quality installations, rollout programs, and/or maintenance programs across multiple systems/sites.
  • Experience in managing relationships with customers and motivating staff.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A history of being highly self-motivated and driven to deliver exceptional service to all customers.

Qualifications:

  • Unit 5 FIA Qualification.
  • Experience of Security systems: Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control.
  • Willingness to be part of a call-out team on a rota.
