About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Systems Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining Fire and Security systems in line with current standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Fire & Security Systems in your assigned area to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Respond to service calls on all types of Fire and Security systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Plan and respond to routine and reactive call visits in your area to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers when planning site visits to ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintain your stock levels with support from the Stores team to ensure you have the necessary materials and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Attend training sessions as and when required to enhance your technical knowledge and skills.
  • Attend Engineering team meetings as and when required to stay informed about company developments and share best practices.
  • Identify any personal training and development needs to help you provide the best possible customer service.
Requirements
  • A technical background in the electrical / electronic industry is essential for this role.
  • Good all-round knowledge of Fire and Security Systems is required to perform duties effectively.
  • Experience of front-line customer contact is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A professional and presentable demeanor is expected at all times when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • An ability to deliver exceptional customer service is critical to success in this role.
