About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Fire & Security Minor Works Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent chance for someone with experience in fire and security systems to take their career to the next level in a leading provider of fire life safety and security solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality service to customers, working on various projects, including installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire and security systems
  • Collaborate with minor works/installations team, clients, and engineers to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Liaise with lead engineers on troublesome sites, addressing critical issues promptly
  • Work closely with subcontract labour and onsite clients, maintaining effective communication channels
  • Maintain fire and security systems in designated regions, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively
  • Respond promptly to routine and reactive call visits, utilising customer portals as directed by lead engineers
  • Support the service engineering team on specific jobs, occasionally working outside your designated post-code area
  • Plan and respond to calls, maintaining stock levels with support from the stores team
  • Attend training sessions and engineering meetings as required, identifying personal development needs to enhance customer service
