Volunteer Befriender for Adults with Learning Disabilities

About the Role:
We are seeking a volunteer to join our team at The Bradbury Centre, a lovely day service based in Seaford. The successful candidate will have a good sense of humour, be a good listener, and be able to assist with cooking, arts & crafts, and other activities.
Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in a variety of settings.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users.
- Assist with daily activities, such as cooking and arts & crafts.
- Provide emotional support and be a good listener.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of service users at all times.
Requirements:
- 18 years old or above.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Up-to-date with data protection and confidentiality procedures.
