About the Role:

We are seeking a volunteer to join our team at The Bradbury Centre, a lovely day service based in Seaford. The successful candidate will have a good sense of humour, be a good listener, and be able to assist with cooking, arts & crafts, and other activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in a variety of settings.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as cooking and arts & crafts.
  • Provide emotional support and be a good listener.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of service users at all times.

Requirements:

  • 18 years old or above.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Up-to-date with data protection and confidentiality procedures.
