Job Opportunity
SeeAbility is seeking a volunteer to join our Swim Buddy team in Seaford. As a Swim Buddy, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism, who may also have sight loss, to increase their confidence, boost their mood, and keep fit.

About the Role
You will be joining the people we support in the water, helping them have fun and encouraging them to swim and play in the pool. Our Support Workers will always be there for guidance and will be responsible for the personal care of your buddy, but they may stay on the side during the time you're in the water.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be:
  • A confident swimmer with a good sense of humour and enthusiasm.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to volunteering.
  • Kind, empathetic, and friendly, with excellent communication skills.
You will also need to undergo a DBS check and complete any required training before starting the role.

Estimated Salary
