Clinical Senior Lecturer in Women's Mental Health

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Senior Lecturer to join our team at King's College London. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the women's mental health research programme within the Health Services & Population Research department and broader university, particularly the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and publish high-quality, internationally recognised research outputs in peer-reviewed journals.
- Secure external grant support for research activity.
- Contribute to education in the department, the IoPPN and the wider university, including leading the perinatal mental health module for iBSc and MSc students and contributing to teaching on other programmes.
- Carry out clinical activities, including service promotion, liaison with agencies, psychopathological assessment, medical reviews, monitoring and treatment of patients, mental health act work, chairing multidisciplinary team meetings, care co-ordination reviews and supervision of medical staff and clinical research workers.
Requirements:
- Substantive, clinical academic post in women's mental health.
- Experience in research and teaching in the field of women's mental health.
- Ability to secure external grant support for research activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer:
- Indefinite contract (subject to a three-year probation period).
- Full-time post, but part-time options will be considered.
